Advice on Head Wound of BP

Mysteriously one morning, this wound showed up on the top of the head of our BP, It was suspected to be a burn wound, however we found no source of danger to him, anyways It's been a couple of months and he's shed once before and it hasn't gone away with the shed, and there are fears that it is stuck on the wound, (he is a problem shedder) We've tried Repti-aid and shed ease. I was wondering if we could get some advice from you guys on how to aid this in healing. Thanks a lot. The wound is between his eyes. Here's a pic:

Oh, that looks to me like something that will come off with shedding, but which will take more than one shed to come off... my bps sometimes get abrasions that look kinda like that after rubbing their heads or sides too aggressively against their hides during shedding, and it usually takes a couple sheds to go away.

I've heard not-so-good things about using products to help shedding, though. Like, sometimes they actually make the problem worse, even in the short term? I'd just put a wet towel on top of his hide and replace it every two or three days until he sheds.

But if it doesn't look markedly better after another shed, I'd take him to a reptile vet.

Reptiles heal remakably fast, at least the trauma part. You might still see a scar for a while but that pic looks like he already healed from whatever happened to him. I would just keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't open back up.

Also look out for stomatitis (mouth rot), signs of RI, and a bump forming under the wound or his eye bulging out (abscess). Hopefully he'll heal up on his own with no complications, but sometimes these types of wounds can introduce bacteria to areas where they shouldn't be and cause problems.
