Exclamation Steve Irwin Riding A GIANT Lizard

I've had that Steve Irwin action figure since I was little, and I've always had it with me. I remember it came with a crocodile and a net, but.. I kinda broke the crocodile and lost the net.

Hope this thread made you smile

You bet he was. If I never watched his shows, I would've never liked reptiles. Actually, I wouldn't even be on this forum right now.

Yeah, everyone wishes that never happened.

The pic is represents a reminder of how awesome he was with reptiles, and if there were a giant BD like that, he would ride it.

Re: Steve Irwin Riding A GIANT Lizard

"What we have here folks is a giant bearded dragon. Very rare. Very dangerous. I'm going to attempt to jump on the little fella's back and take him for a spin. Now if I were to fall off it's likely that I'll get trampled by this 600lb behemoth. Not the mention the mouth on this beast is large enough to swallow a human head! Let me try to get my head near his mouth to give you an idea of just how dangerous he is."

I love how he'd explain how deadly the situation was and walk right in like it didn't apply to him. Of all the crazy stuff he did it was ironic that he was done in by a stingray in a way I'd never imagined could happen. He's the kind of guy we need to fight for our rights to keep reptiles as pets.
