what's your opinion about this animal?

breeding a fire-lesser male to a "normal" female I hatched this one just a few days ago. To me it looks to light to be just a platinum so it maybe a fire-platinum but the pattern it's very different from all other fire-lesser I saw.

    thanks
    marco

I'm sorry but I got to learn how to post pics before

    Very cool looking!!!!

Was the normal a sib from Ralph's Platty?
If so you may have hit on a Platty Fire cross.

It has the color like a platty daddy. I was just watching ralph davis on you tube and he was saying that some poeple ave been able to produce platty daddys from lessers when they were bred to norm females with a special hidden gene. The whole platty,, lesser thing confuses me.

    Hi,

Yeah I'm thinking your normal isn't normal.

Have a look through this birthing record page and see if anything seems familiar to you.

Re: what's your opinion about this animal?

    Hi,

I'd definately be sending that pic to Ralph and asking if that would be what a fire platty daddy would look like - at worst he is liable to tell you why not and suggest what it might be.
