I do remember someone saying something about it being a Nile while I was snapping pics, and remarking how much tamer it was than they usually are, but I don't know who said it. I was concentrating on trying to get tongue shots.

Some people like there lizards big. I ask the same thing for people that keep tiny snakes and lizards I remember the first time I held a baby corn and a crested gecko I couldnt enjoy the moment because I was terrified my finger was going to slip and crush the poor thing. They seem so fragile

To be honest, BG doesn't care what Sam says, that's a Water and BG wants it..... if it's a male. It kinda looks like it has a long slender neck though, so it may be a girl. Ask anyway, BG is interested. Ask soon for BG girl....thanks.
