Well first of all, length isn't really a good measure of how big the snake actually is since getting an accurate length measurement is nearly impossible. Weight, however, is much more informative.
If your snake is full grown, a 32-42qt tub would be perfect. If your snake is younger than a year old, a 15qt tub is probably better.
As long as the tub is short (under 8") it doesn't really matter. They don't really need as much space as you think. Just enough for two hides and a water bowl.

oh ok thats wat came up when i was searching for 42 qt
I don't know where you live, but don't overthink this: just go to your local Walmart/KMart/Target and buy a tub. They cost under $10, and there are usually entire isles with all the sizes you could want -- you're sure to find the perfect size. I think I paid $4 for mine.
We get all our 42qt tubs at Target, they are 7.99 but when it's the holidays like now you can get them for 4.99. This is the size we use for our breeders.
