for an 8 foot RTB female what size tub can i use or should i just custom build something?

Custom the way to go. That size you want something at least 4 foot by 2foot and 2 foot high. They also make some really great plastic cages of all sizes. You what to make sure it's big enough that if it grows a couple more feet it won't out grow it.
