This season is my first attempt at breeding! My male pastel is only a year old and I wasn't sure he would go for me. My female, on the other hand is five years old and 2,000 grams, more than ready to breed. Well, anyway, I've been trying for the past month without the slightest bit of interest from my male pastel. Then tonight I checked on them before going to bed and his tail was actually under hers!!! I spoke with a friend of mine and he said it probably wasn't a lock because by the time I ran upstairs to get my camera he wasn't under her anymoreBUT I'm still really really excited! Even if it wasn't a lock at least he's got the idea now!!!!
I'm giving all the credit to my mom because she was taking care of my snakes while my boyfriend and I went to D.C. to visit family for Thanksgiving. She didn't like the bowl I had for my big girl so she got her a heart shaped water bowl!
Here's what I did get pictures of. (and yes I know it's dirty, it was clean this morning and I didn't want to disturb them)
