    Pine isn't poisonous to reptiles.

    Kiln dried is fine.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

No, pine oil is poisonous. However the kiln dried removes that issue.

I have Alfapet #1 Pine Shaving, natural pine aroma. Bedding for dogs, birds, ferrets, reptiles, and other small animals.
Snakes are just as fun of a pet as a cat or dog, just easier to feed.

if it smells like pine i'm almost sure that means the toxic oils are still in the wood.

I've used kiln dried pine when I was breeding my own rats for feeders. Never had a problem and it still smelled like pine.

Re: Barely got a Mojave Python

The Alfapet stuff your using has oils in it still and SHOULD not be used for your snake.

That was info I found on Walmarts website, it said it still has the oils in it.
