    Smaller rack system?

Ive been loking to switch from tanks to rack for my snakes and future additions. I at most will have 8 snakes or so and cant find any racks that arent for less than like 15 snakes. Also id like to find one that can go from small tubs to large tubs as all 3 snakes in m care right now are less than 2' (all mid/late 09 hatchlings) and dont want to have to get a new system when they are adults.

Also is there a way to keep my boas in the same rack as my BPs? I keep my BPs 92-95 and my boas 86-89 and noticed if Thor or Striker get above 89* they get super pissy and bitey.

Im sorry if these are stupid questinos im way new to a rack type system

    Re: Smaller rack system?

Check out Animal Plastics, they have a good selection of smaller racks. They have models that are designed to switch between 15 and 32 quart tubs or thereabouts, exact size varies depending on brand. You probably won't be able to find a rack designed to switch between, say, 15, 32, and 41 quart tubs unless you build it yourself, though. As for heating, if you use Flexwatt it's pretty easy to wire the levels separately, then you can plug the boas' and pythons' levels into different thermostats to achieve different heat gradients. I'd probably keep them in separate racks, but I'm anal that way

haha in my head im going to end up with 2-4 pythons and 2-4 boas and if necessary would keep two racks, but would love to have the extra floor space in my tiny room. Plus the GF is going to want a rack for her sand boa and redtail when she gets one so im sure were going to end up with to anyway
