One thing, when Boas eat, do their colors seem to flare up? Maybe its just because shes on her heating pad more to Digest, but she seems to be more colorful/pink after she eats or drinks.

I have never noticed that with mine, but you may be right. Great looking boa!

Boas can actually go through some pretty drastic color changes depending on how they're "feeling." Hogg Islands tend to be the most drastic of all of them, but Columbian normals can also change quite a bit. And because of the brightness of the hypo morph, you can notice it more... when I had them, I noticed that they could swing from really bright to really dark (and it wasn't a shed change). They also seemed to be more curious and open on lighter days, and, well, sleepier on darker days lol

With beardies when they are darker its because they are cold or stressed, lighter when they are eating or happy. In that first picture she is "darker"

Maybe its the same deal with these guys?

Mine never change color when feeding. Well, the Hypo does but he looks like a freakin fire engine at times and other times like a salmon pastel so it might just be his moods.

My little girl seems to darken significantly when she eats, too. I wonder why that is.
