My Ball is hiding under his bedding!
Hey I'm new to the forum and need help! My snake is hiding under his bedding of aspen shavings. Is this ok? I have 2 hiding places for him, but he doesn't go in them that much. I appreciate the help!

Re: My Ball is hiding under his bedding!
Ensure the hides are acceptable, tight, dark hides.
But yes, some animals will hide under their substrate/paper despite having hides provided for them.

I may also add in that in the wild Ball pythons like to hide in burrows underneath the ground.
It's completely normal, though I've never had any of my Ball pythons do that, but like 2kdime said, make sure they are acceptable, tight, dark hides, or your Ball python may try to hide elsewhere in order to feel more secure.
