    winter troubles

i had everything setup perfect so the heat and humidity was good on both sides and all of a sudden the temps outside just dropped and now im having trouble keeping both sides at the right temp and the humidity right. before i could just turn a light on and leave it. now i have to keep checking it constantly and making some kind of adjustment. i was using one bulb on the warm side and everything was good. now im using a bulb plus a UTH and its not working. the only thing i can do is leave the day basking bulb on all day every day and then at night that doesnt always work. or the UTH makes it too hot so i turn it off n then its too cold. i cant find the sweet spot, the blance!! any ideas? suggestions? personal experience will be much appreciated!

    Re: winter troubles

A thermostat would fix the too hot problem but the too cold problem could be solved by covering all fout sides and the top with foam insulation that you can get at any hardware store. Thats what I do to solve my winter temps! Good luck! Hope this helps!
