My racks came with the zoo med heat cables. And i replaced them with the big apple ones. I replaced them because they were not long enough to cover enough space for each tub. Other then that they did work fine. But i only used them for a couple weeks.

I use them in my store and they work well for some apps. Wouldn't use them for balls though, they don't get hot enough. I use them with success for spiders, colubrids, and occasionaly if I need to set up a quarentine or brooder cage in some tupperware.

They don't get hot enough and have hot stops.

Now one good heat cable I have is the one coming with Animal plastic racks but I have no idea who the manufacturer is.

The big apple heat cables i bought were consistant all the way through. They just seem better quality.
