CAPTIVE BRED BY GREGORY J HALL
I bred ASF's for about 2 years and never did I see any kind of "puss sack" on any of them. I did however see males kill and mutilate each other are very young ages if I didn't take them out quick enough to feed off or to pair up with females. Maybe yours are fighting and the injuries are getting infected? With out pictures, I don't think any one will really be able to tell ya what is going on.

my males get growths all over them at around a year, but they start under the chin area. they look like tumors, but they do "pop" open almost like a zit...i had two of mine do it...and now i just feed them off at around 10 months or so before it starts happening. imho i think it has to do with the inbreeding more than anything else.
