    Recessive dwarf

Some pics of my recessive dwarf rats.
My friend has a trio of hets that make these dwarfs and we are in the process of making another group with my mink rat also, since black and blue and the two tone dwarf rex female is all we have so far.
This male is a black berkshire double rex(patchwork) dwarf dumbo

A comparison shot by a bic lighter

Here he is full grown, such a beast, lol.
His hair has grown in, for the moment.

This is two of his dwarf girlfriends, one black, one two tone, lol(no clue on actual coat color)anyone else?
Anyways they are black two tone Berkshire rex dwarf dumbo..

This is my large mink girl that we are making het dwarfs with, I want some mink dwarfs as mink is an awesome color(IMO)

And this little guy is a blue double rex dwarf dumbo, quite rare, sadly he came to me sick and had to be put down.
I do have another one coming to me though as a replacement, from the same trio of adult hets

It keeps me busy when I'm not chasing kids, dogs, snakes, regular feeder breeder rats etc...
    Thanks for looking

My friend that has the hets says the dwarf babies are very small.
He has been throwing partial litters of normal and dwarf, so we really aren't sure yet of the litter size with all dwarf litters.
The two toned girl is pregnant and will be my first litter of all dwarfs.
I'm excited to see this litter and how tiny the babies really are.
The male dwarf is possibly the gentlest cutest little rat.

We've gotten quite a few laughs watching mini me(his given name) take on the big girl, in his mini way

LOL, yes, the monitor shows them up close, but rest assured, this guy is 1/4 the size of the mink girl.

They are Norwegian dumbo eared no different than the rats we feed and NOT feeders, lol.
Well some people feed dumbo rats
These are for the pet market at $15 a pop.

    Re: Recessive dwarf

The dwarfs are getting interesting Jerry.

We just picked up a blue rex dumbo male to breed with those blues I got from you a while back. Hopefully we will be seeing some blue rex dumbos soon. He also carries the hairless gene.

    Re: Recessive dwarf

    Nice!

I dig the blues the most, color wise.
I have alot coming in soon, a whole rack full to be specific.
Blue double rex male and 5 rex females are in one tub

I could use another group of asf's too, this one group isn't going to be enough soon
you should call me this weekend
