    Re: Fires, Pastels and Fireflies

A friend of mine just picked up a firefly from John (www.jdconstriction.com). I went to see it last week and it's hot! I will agree that it is quite similar to a super pastel, but it's MUCH lighter and has a lot of blushing compared to a pastel.

Here's a picture from John's (jpman78) website of the one Jon (nevohraalnavnoj) picked up

    Re: Fires, Pastels and Fireflies

Well I realy want a firefly now but with that price that, I guess it's gonna be a while...

I also searched around for fires seems they are $400-500 average price. Is that correct? I better start saving.

    Re: Fires, Pastels and Fireflies

I just got back form the show, saw a few fireflys for 1000-1200.

and I can agree with you on the fire thing, as babies its hard to tell if you got nothing to compare them to, tho high quality ones will catch your eye.

but fireflys, there no mistaking them, they were catching my eye from 20 feet away at the show. next year i will most likly own one. spent my money on a jag carpet right b4 the show, tho im not regretting it. but if i didn't buy her, i would of most likly got a firefly. once you see your first one in person, you'll know why.

That firefly on the right is my dream animal. Bright yellow, no blushing, dense blacks. Absolute perfection....

Our Citrus and Hypo Citrus are doing well, thanks again.

To the OP--we just got back from Tinley and Fireflies are much brigther than most of the pastels on the market.
