    Sacramento Expo + Pickups (**DUW**)

Went to my first expo yesterday! Had the time of my life. I normally hate shopping, but this was super fun and I found myself a couple of amazing additions.

Here we go. Prepare to be amazed!

I am ashamed to say that, since I was primarily shopping for a boa, I didn't get as many BP shots as I'd have liked, but I got the highlights. (Super spinner, extreme high white bee, etc.)

    ATB

    GTP

    Monster pied

Not sure, but I'm thinking this is an Angolan python. Thoughts?

    Super spinner!!

    Butter

Sharp salmon BCI (I was stuck between getting this one and the one I did get. I'm thus far happy with my choice. See bottom for pix of my new girl.)

    Albino and salmon BCI

    Sharp albino

Don't remember... BCO, possibly? Or a leopard BCI?

    Pastel ball

    Grey-banded king

    BRB

    Carpet

    Pastel BCI pair

    BCI

    Dumerils

    Jungle BCI

    BCI

    Albino

    Blood

    BCI

    BRB

    BCI

    Bino

    Salmon

Another BRB (can you tell I spent a lot of time at the Dave Colling booth? )

    American alligator

    American croc

    Black-throated monitor

    N Pacific rattler

Tarantulas (my friend was going to get one but was unsure of her dad's reaction...)

Okay, and here are my pickups.

Zilveren Zalma (don't ask about the name... it means 'silver salmon' in Dutch, my friend came up with it. She's got lots of pinks and a silver head) the Dave Colling 09 female circleback BCI

Me holding her at the expo.

My friend holding her at the expo.

    Her tail!!!!!

And Piedra ('stone' in Spanish), my new female gargoyle gecko from Giant Geckos in her new home.

Believe it or not, I've got more pix loading. I'll save your poor computers and give you think link to the expo pix.

That looks to be a "wall". A cross between a woma python and a ball python.

Aw, now I kinda wish I had gone! But between the weather forecast of 104 in Sac (), and the fact that I'm pretty much broke for the moment... well, those factors made the 3-hour (round-trip) drive less appealing. Great pictures and nice pickups - love that boa!

Re: Sacramento Expo + Pickups (**DUW**)

It was a fun show! I went Sunday. There were alot of pretty boas there, I was almost tempted to pick one up!

    Nice photos and pickup!

I was surprised that it wasn't hot at all in the convention center. With all the people in there, heaters for the snakes, I don't think it got above 85*. Outside, I didn't think it was too hot, but I've lived in the valley all my life, 100*+ days just feel like another day!
