Avoid DISASTER for about a buck.

Had a few requests for pics so here it is. Sorry not the best pictures because of the poor lighting in my garage, but you will get the point.

If you don't know why this is SOOO important, please read my other post here....

Sorry, don't know exactly what size these washers are but they are big, thick, and heavy. They are galvanized steel and were glued on using enough hot glue to cover the whole back of the washer. They have been in place for months now. They are glued on the INSIDE of the tub for the best protection. the rats haven't touched them in months... of course if they did I would never know it because they are BULLET PROOF!

I only use these tubs for weaned grow outs. Even if I did leave the bottle out again overnight in error, they ain't chewing out!!!!

We use modified 50 qt lock top Rubbermades with the hole in the side. Do you hot glue the washer or just hang it?

Thanx mike, like I guess, I was LOST. No clue what people meant with washers for the water bottles, now I get it. That asnwers so many questions.

BTW what tubs and size are those? where did you get them?

Hey mike it would be nice if you post the size of the washers and the bottles. The bottles I bought are too big for the tubs and the washers. Im gonna go return them and get smaller bottles.

Too big for the tubs? How can that be? As long as you mount them on the outside like in Mike's pics, I dont think they can be too big..

Re: Avoid DISASTER for about a buck.

56QT. the bigger bottles have a wider tube. I cant place the 16oz bottles I bought straight down because the hole in the washer doesnt allow for the angle with such a wide tube. And yes the tubs are not tall enough for the 16oz bottles. The bottles surpass the tub lids. But anyways Im just learning as I go. Another first timer would appreciate the extra info.
