There can be an axanthic pastel with brighter white on their alien heads.

    Re: pastel x axanthic?

Take what I say with a LARGE grain of salt... just from what I have read, if I remember correctly pastel is co-dom and axanthic is recessive, so breeding the two together would produce some pastels and some normals all of which are het axanthic, so you would then have to breed one of the pastel het axanthics to an axanthic or another ball that is het axanthic before you would see both traits show up... atleast thats what I gather from (http://www.worldofballpythons.com/wizard)

I now yield the rest of my time to all the breeding gods that will now tell you that what I said is completely false

A pastel axanthic is not going to be a wow combo. It will be much like the pastel albino. Wont look significantly different then the original base morph. The good thing about them is the genetic power they hold when breeding. Valuable snake, Yes most definitely. One your non snake people are going to OOOOHHHHH and aaaahhhhh about highly doubt it. Re: pastel x axanthic?

I understand how the gentics work with it, and you got it right except the snake I am interested in is a het axanthic. Im more interested in how the combo morph would look and what other combos it would work with.

My issue is that he is a male and I already have more males than I need for other projects. I dont have a pastel or axanthic yet though and they are two of my favorite morphs. Im just trying to decide if this project is one I want to take on....... Im not sure I want to wait the time it will take to get an axanthic out of him, Im leaning toward passing on this.

Here is something you could potentially make from that combo

Pretty cool if you ask me.
