I'll be in Tinley - probably Thursday evening through Monday morning. I don't know the area either - and not sure the "hang-out" spots for the show. I imagine it's at the Holiday Inn (where all the folks vending at the show party after the show).
Since I'm jealously missing Daytona Beach right now, I have to look forward to Tinley.
I'll be staying at LaQuinta just around the corner from the show (like .23 miles from the show). Bringing the fur baby (dog), so needed pet friendly.
Had a friend of mine stay at LaQuinta last year and she wasn't real wild about it. Nice rooms but it wasn't easy getting back to the Holiday Inn. You have to cross some pretty busy roads that have no real crosswalks. I stayed at the Holiday Inn and the rooms were great. This year though I'll be staying at Georgios comfort Inn in Orlando Park (about 10 miles away) It'll be interesting to see how it differs.
