Heating Setups?

I have a pretty good idea as to how it works, but if any of you could post pictures of your glass tank setups (or even roughly describe them to me), particularly focusing on the position of your heating lamps, that would be of awesome help.

That, and it would be fun to see how creative some people get with their habitats.

I use UTHs on all of my tanks - just one on the warm side since the ambient temperature in the room is already pretty high.

I think most everyone would agree that belly heat (UTH, flexwatt) is the way to go with ball pythons. Lamps suck humidity dry and that it can be a pain to bring up in most climates.

One UTH under the hot side is uaully all you need.

Yeah, that's pretty much my situation. I have a UTH, but it doesn't feel warm enough. It doesn't have a temperature dial (which is a no-no, I know) and the substrate I'm using is aspen bedding. The aspen isn't conducting and conserving a sufficient amount of heat. So would a ceramic heating bulb be the way to go? I live in Canada near the western coast, and when it's not sunny, my house is almost always cold.

I use an ifrared bulb! They are cheaper and they light up your tank at light! Make sure you are taking your temps on the surface because that is the temp your snake will feel on his belly.
