Rats replacements?

HI! I have a feeding problem, my place big rats are rare to purchase, is it okay to replace rats with old thinner hamsters (I mean old and not much fats) for my Pythons?

What species are you keeping?

I would think the hamster would be a very expensive meal with loads of hair compared to meat.

Could you find something like baby rabbits? Can you order F/T online and have it shipped to you?

How many animals do you have and how much freezer space do you have? Could consider ordering from one of the rodent supply houses? You can typically get what you need delivered the next day.
