So glad they arrived safe and sound for you! - looks like you have the perfect little homes for them too. You're right that male het has an incredible pattern! He seems to know it too... thinks he's too good to be held...

    Great names!

I know, it was totally exciting to watch their progress... they made a LONG trip from Georgia to Illinois to Oakland, and finally San Francisco! But they didn't seem too stressed out, aside from Pedro's bite attempt - I think it was all talk, though.

Thanks a million!! They seem pretty happy with their tubs, even though I have them stacked right now (still waiting for the rack). The hets have been resting in their hides all day, and the mojo has been cruising... he was switching off between hanging on the water dish & Acu-rite, but was finally (halfway) in his cave when I checked a minute ago.

LOL... does he have a little ego problem? He didn't seem to mind being held, but it was only for a few seconds before putting him in the tub. Pedro was the one who gave me attitude, and tried to strike as I was taking his picture - I think the flash scared him, if that's possible. Anyway, thanks again, and I can't wait to see how they grow!!

    A few more pictures...

(I'll remove this unit when I get the rack - next week)

You can just see the attitude in this guy, LOL

Here's how I have them temporarily set up... using a heat lamp until I get the rack, b/c I'm afraid of messing with the flexwatt/helix. Temps are maintaining around 80-85, so I assume that's fine for a few days?

    Re: My new arrivals!!

I just switched out the hatchling's hides, since I had to change their bedding anyway (they both splashed water everywhere). I got these RBI hides online, and thought they were too small when they arrived - but then I met the babies, and realized they're even smaller! They seem pretty content:
