    Baby Garter

So I caught a lil baby garter snake one maybe 2 weeks ago. I have kept him in a 10 gallon (with lots of clutter) and he seems to be calming down quite a bit. Last night was the second time we have attempted to feed him (worms from the compost pile) and to my 11 years old sister and my surprise within a minute of holding him in sight of the worm he struck and ate it! I was so happy, I tried to see if he wanted more but he didn't seem to want any more. I will have to try again in a few days.

Try some little feeder gold fish. He might like those!

Do not feed goldfish. Read a sticky on the this thread: http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showthread.php?t=89242

It's literally like 3 topics above this one. Twisted you should pay more attention before you post, or atleast research before you post, because something you can can possibly get up getting somebodys snake killed/unhealthy.

It's kinda funny cause I actually went to delete the "gold" from my gold fish statement so it just read feeder fish.

That is quite new info to me. I used to have a garter when I was younger and it never showed any problems from goldfish.
