    Slyders Home :)

I picked up my first BP last week and he is awesome! My wife and I couldn't be happier, he seems happy as well. Here are some pictures of his home 'n stuff.

Had to take two pictures :/

I have two thermometers with probes and a humidity gauge, I use an UTH and it seem to be working well for now, especially being in SoCal. Please comment and lemme know of any changes and stuff, I'm going to replace the half log with an identical hide, they gave me that one when I bought him :/

Welcome to the site! your setup looks good, and you've got the identical hide thing figured out. I like it it looks very natural. Are you at pendleton?

Here are a few more, still getting his home all set up.. temps and humidity seem fine. I've only had him for a few days now, first snake my wife and I have ever owned. What do you do out there in Lejeune?

He was drinking, had his nose in the water and everything, this is the best picture I could get

    Re: Slyders Home :)

Alright, picking up the Helix thermostat tomorrow, that UTH is just too dangerous... LLLReptiles sells this "kit" for ball pythons, I figured they would know what they are talking about, but they gave me a UTH, half log, and a python with a tick. I'm getting rid of the half log and getting two identical full coverage hides and a thermostat. Oh, I removed the tick and purchased some prevent-o-mite. Thanks for everyones advice and help so far, but I have yet another question..

What do ya think of this cage? 8'x3'x3' I noticed the bulbs are exposed, I'd probably rid of those, the shell seems nice a sturdy though. I was wondering how hard it would be to add the heater and other accessories. Feedback please! Thanks.

    $500 or best offer.

    Here is the craigslist listing.

Oh, and it isn't for my ball.. for a future purchase...
