Sometimes, out of sadness, there comes a ray of light

    Hi all,

So my week had a really bad start seeing as my cat, Benji got run over last night. I'm rather messed up at this point, to say the very least. But this morning I skipped class and went for a drive to our local herp store and saw a little hatching albino house snake and fell in love! I bought him and decided to name him Benji in memory of my baby. I'm waiting on the transport permit, which will be ready in about 2 weeks, then I can bring him home. I'm getting a BP as well, but he will only come later this year. cant wait!

R.I.P my little Benji boy xxx

thank you all very much! I'm still sad about my baby Benji(R.I.P), but seeing my baby snake (also a Ben) every day helps me remember my kitty with the added joy of owning my very first snake

P.S I have a Ball Python as well now, named Snape

Cool name for a snake...the headmaster of Slytherin. Sorry to read about your loss.
