    Red marks on body

Hi guys, I'm new here on the forum and I already like it.
I have a young normal male BP, yesterday I noticed two small red spots on my snake's belly near the tail. The spots are small and quite light in colour. I read about scale rot, and gather that it starts with brown scales that is inflamed, mine is only light red, does not cover whole scales and is not inflamed. Please help me, I really want my pets to be in the best shape possible. It would be difficult to post pics as my camera does not seem to show the marks when I take a photo.
I keep the cage humidity at +- 60-70% and clean out the tank regularly. He is feeding well after the winter and does not seem to be ill in any way.
I really hope that the marks are just from rubbing against something and not something serious.

    Regards,

    Pieter

The humidity needs to be between 55-65%, 60-70% when in shed. Anyways, no one is going to be able to make a diagnosis until we get some pics.
    Dude, where did Bob go?

Maybe it would be in you & your snake's best interest if you brought him into the vet's office for a check-up. My local vet only charges around 30$ for a check-up which i think is totally worth it even if it's just for the peace of mind.

I think it's always best to catch your pet's medical issues early before it turns into a problem.
