How long can she go without going?

Snickets has eaten 3 mice so far. Today, we'll be feeding her again. So far she's been on a 5 day schedule since she didn't eat for about 2 weeks when we got her. I can see the lumps in her lower body, but she hasn't gone poop yet! I'm wondering, how long have you or your friends seen a BP go without pooping?

I'm sure she can't hold out for too much longer. After I give her two days for digesting, I'm gonna change her paper towels to see if that'll do the trick.

Re: How long can she go without going?

BPs can hold it in for quite sometime. My male BP doesn't defecate after he's eaten. I normally see him defecate once a month, and A LOT comes out. My female BP defecates 3-4 days after she's eaten, but she doesn't let it all out. Normally once a month she takes a huge dump, but I think that's because she only let's some feces out after she eats but not all of it.

They go when needed. Younger ball pythons will go less often due to them growing faster and absorbing the meal completely. On average ball pythons poop every 3-6 weeks

She finally pooped! It was very small too! She shed the latter part of her body, so the upper half still needs to come off. If she doesn't do it by herself tonight, since tomorrow is feeding day, 2 days after that I'll soak her. Her colors came out nicely on the bottom half!

Mine usually drop a couple of little teasers a few days after they eat. Normally the day after I do a thorough tank cleaning is when they have Ball-a-poo-looza and drop the mother load...
