feed it whatever size mouse or rat is as big as the widest part of the snake. and if its 800 grams, probably once every 7 days.

I would say a small rat would be suitable, every 7 days. Make sure you give him a little time to adjust to his new home before trying to feed him.

800 grams is probably a two-year-old. The most appropriate food item is a small rat.
If he will not eat rats, then you're going to have to feed him a LOT of mice. I would honestly feed him as many as he will take consecutively, once a week. This could be 3 to 5 mice.
This is why folks generally prefer their ball pythons eat rats. ^_^.
