AcuRite Finally
Got one at home depot. It was like $13... finally.
For the probe is it ok to leave the wires out? I tried putting them under the substrate but they kinda come back up. & Are they water resistant? or should i not spray around it. I didnt want to get it wet if it will get messed up.
ALSO my snake finally shed today. Ive been spraying alot for the last few days and of course today, the day im gone for most of the day she decides to start shedding so the humidity was around 60-63. Its deffinatley not one peice. But i think she did an OK job. I havent checked her out since she was about half way done.

The wires are ok if they get wet, the unti not so much haha. I used a little tie wrap and keep the excess probe cord wrapped up next to the unit. But I have seen people run it outside the enclosure, just don't crimp the wire.

Crimp means to bend, fold, pinch etc. You don't want to bend the wire or create a crease in it, leave it loose and curly...it will eventually flatten out on it's own. You can loosely tie it together, just no serious folds/bends.

I shoved the cord for mine (all folded) behind and under the water bowl. She can't get to it (she never moves the water bowl) and its out of the way. You could try hot gluing it too along the bottom. But it is like a 3 foot long cord. Lots of glue.

Yeah thats what I was thinking... Right now i just have the unit on the left side and the probe on the right, but theres like 5 feet of probe wire! lol. I just left it all wound up like it came in the box, but its not really crimped.
