    Pinstripe

Hi guys i will be collecting this little fella next week or the week after. He is an 09 male pinstripe. My questionis that as you can tell he doesnt have solid stripes and is rather broken up. Like spiders and pieds you get clean examples and others that arent so impressive. Is this a completely random thing and would a clean animal produce claen and unclean yound and vice versa

I for one like the patterns like yours.. Like spiders they do vary from offspring to offspring. But that can be influanced by the pairing.

I wouldn't classify yours as not clean, I would classify it as Reduced pattern, which IMO is a good thing.

i actually like both the reduced pin and the busy pattern pin, but both must be extreme cases

    Re: Pinstripe

I also think his pattern is awesome! Also his color, I love pins with light yellows and golds. But what matters is what you like and what you want to achieve with your breeding. Patterns vary a lot though and you may get "normal" pinstripes and you may get reduced pattern pins. Can you get pictures of his parents? That may help you to see if his patterning is genetic or random.
