Can you gut load meal worms?

This might seem like a stupid question. Can you gut load meal worms or super worms? If so how? Or is this even a good idea?

They eat their bedding so make sure that is good stuff, then they are gut loaded
I use a mix of rolled oats, wheat germ, flax, dry milk, baby rice cereal flakes, ground up dry dog kibble, bee pollen and then put baby carrots on top for moisture. I use the same stuff for my cricket food, just grind it up finer.
