    Will this substrate work

    I was wondering if this bedding would work and be safe for my rats.

    depends on what kind of wood they use...pine and cedar shavings arent the best for rats and aspen is ok- im no expert, but thats all i know

    I do love pellets for odor control. Nursing mothers still need shavings to make a nest.
