Feeding/handling
After feeding how long do you have to wait until the you can handle them?

24 to 48 hours. 48 if you want to be safe, 24 if you just can't stay away!

Re: Feeding/handling
seems like 48 is the magic number but if my snake has a big meal I will wait 72

Yeah, like they said, 48 is the ideal. But, don't worry about going into the enclosure if you need to spot clean or change water. You don't want that stuff in the tank for two days haha.

I fed my snake earlier today and I already miss holding it.

Re: Feeding/handling
The thought of possibly causing a regurgitation by handling too soon keeps me at bay.

Yeah me too. I fed my snake in a separate enclosure today so I can clean out his cage. I had to pick him up to move him back into his cage after it was cleaned.

That's the only way our snake has been fed, and moving it back each time has been no problem. I guess because it's still so small (24"?), it's easy to support almost the entire body with one hand when it's curled up. No way would I put pressure anywhere near that mousey bulge, though!

Re: Feeding/handling
I fed my first BP's in a separate enclosure and never had any issues with regurge because of moving them back..... I only ever had one of them regurge and it was because I was trying to feed it to much when I first got em. He ate two and puked one back up.....It smelt like death.....yummy
