    The sized Market...

Its allot of talk about the baby market, but how do you determined the price based on the grams of your animal??? I know a female breeding or closer to breeding weight is worth more but really how much...

is a pastel at breeding weight worth 800 more dollars?
how about spiders, lessers, yellows, pins and other morphs?

    Re: The sized Market...

I think it all depends on the quality of the animal, the particular morph and what your personal goals are, different things are worth different amounts to people. sometimes the 800$ or so increase makes sense when you factor the 2 to 3 years a breeding size animal has been kept and raised and fed.

Generally a breeder size of any morph with be considerably more that a juvie or baby cause of the time ti take to raise the animal.
...recessives usually on the higher end of that, folowed by breeder sized supers and codom combos.

I don't know if it makes $800 of difference on a pastel, but you will always see a price increase as the animal is closer to breeding weight and age. I've seen pieds for $1200 as hatchlings and proven breeders for $2500 though. $1300. All depends on the size, age, and morph as stated in the previous post.

    Re: The sized Market...

Because not many people are selling adult breeder female morphs, the demand is higher, and the supply much lower, therefore, their value is that much higher. If someone is looking for an adult breeder female pastel, for example, you may have to search for weeks, possibly months before you find someone who is selling one.
