    Maybe some people don't want to get bitten? No, it doesn't hurt - but that's besides the point. I'm sure if you have a stressed and scared snake, you sticking your hand down there and getting struck at multiple times is just great for the snakes stress level

    If using a hook means the snake won't strike - then there is nothing wrong with it.

    I wouldn't be upset about the purchase at all. I understand your being upset with the seller for saying it is some kind of morph, but that is a really good looking reduced normal. worth $40 or more all day long.

    Now as for the aggressiveness of the snake, let them get settled in for the next week and make sure their temps and humidity are spot on and they should calm down and eat for you.

    Yes that is a hook never had to use one untill now he made it last night a metal hanger. HAHA

    Looks like they had been in an Iodine bath, its a way of treating imports for mites and parasites before they are sold.
