Re: Daytona just around the corner
Sadly I will not be there this year.
When you've got 10,000 people trying to do the same thing, why would you want to be number 10,001? ~ Mark Cuban "for the discerning collector"

Re: Daytona just around the corner
I wonder if there is a lot of people in the same boat as me...
I plan to go to the Daytona show on Sunday this year... but for the most part I will only be window shopping. Just don't have the money that I would normally have this time of year I guess.
Of course there will be a few small things I get... like a new snake hook, but I won't be making any significant purchases... and no animals. The gas to get to the show, food for the day, entry costs, and the few small items I plan to get is about all the budget will allow.
The more I think about it the more it sucks. last year's Daytona for me was a whole weekend out of town.... stayed at a hotel, ate good, partied, purchased two RBI racks, thermostats, flexwatt, probes, feeding tongs, 4 ball morphs, one red tail boa, and a few other little things.
This year I get a one day trip and a snake hook. That just sucks.

Re: Daytona just around the corner
I'd love to go but things just aren't working out the way we expected them to at work so it doesn't look like I'll be able to attend this year .

We are going to be there, but will not be spending anything, and we are probably going to bring our pop-up camper and staying in a local campground, $21/night as opposed to nightly stays at the local hotels will save us a ton of money, plus we enjoy (Luxury) camping anyway, lol.
Custom reptile and amphibian enclosures! As well as other custom wood working.
