I also have a Mossberg 12G pump. Not a bad gun for $160! I am going to put the shorter 18 inch barrel with pistol grips for the pump and stock, I would also like to extend the magazine tube and put a heat shield on it.
How is that to shoot I have heard lots of complaints about the fit to your hand. I was thinking about the XDM in 40 but not sure.

OK I could not wait so I called my local academy sports and I got the Persuader model.
I liked the JIC but I figured I could make the waterproof tube with some 6" PVC, a cap, and a (I cant remember what the heck the thing is called, it has the rubber stop that expands... you know what the heck it is don't give me that look)
I will be making a few of those tubes and burying them so that if I need to I can have some guns available.

Sorry I got distracted and that last one came out as a half thought...
Basically I saved $50 and got the same bun but with 2 more round cap and a heat shield.

Ahhh. You stole my plan, or at least one of my 47 zombie plans
BTW, I used to live in Cleburne when I was two years old. I grew up more south of there, but lived in the Stephenville area for a few years before I made my way back into the military and up to Kansas.
