How old does a female breed?

How long does a female BP take to become breedable?

I know the minumun weight is 1500g, but how long does it take them to get there? I see alot of "by second winter" around the forum, but for someone new like me, that doesnt mean alot. I know every snake grows at a different rate, but whats a good ball park figure?

    How many months? years?

So many questions, so little time!

    Thanks
    Danny

Re: How old does a female breed?

For me my personal rule of thumb is 500g for every foot. Some may say this is stupid but thats just me. As for how long I say minimum of 3 years although some will say sooner. I have a female cinny thats over a year and only 300g and has never missed a meal.

I breed two 1600 gram pastel girls this year @ 18 months. They where sister and kept on the same feed routine. They both drop at almsot 2 years old on the dot on had 7 good eggs and the other has 6. They should be hacthing in a few weeks. These where the youngest I have ever breed todate.

Re: How old does a female breed?

Depends on wieght not age, atleast in my opinion, and wieght depends on feeding schedule, and if your power feeding. For my girls, I figuring about 3 years. Meaning skip 2 seasons and ready by the 3rd.
