    Tub setup

Yay! I finished my first tub and I just put my female in.

    Details:
41qt tub with a crapload of holes
    homemade plastic hides
    water bowl
    fake plants
    Accurite
    UTH under one side
    gift wrap paper as substrate
    binder clips on top

After two days of adjusting temps and adding holes to maintain humidity, it's done! And I finally got around to taking some crappy pics of her.
    Getting chunky...

    Checkin out her new home:

    Escape!!

She easily stretches the length of the tub.

Yeah, I hate my room color too.

Leave the paper on the sticky side of the UTH. Place UTH under tub. Done.

(Don't stick the UTH to the tub.)

most definitely, if left unregulated they can cause some really nasty burns.

    Re: Tub setup

A thermostat would be better than a dimmer to regulate. ( prefer to place the probe directly on the heat tape outside the tubs, the snake can't move it out and getting the temp get crazy since the probe is not recording the right information).

In my rack, right now, my thermostat is heating only at 10% to keep the temperature at 95, so the inside of my tubs are at 90-92 (depending on the level).

btw : the plants are nice, but does it have enough space to crawl ? a BP prefer to be flat. I suppose the plants are not taking all the bottom surface and it give it some hides so

and make sure those clip are enough solid.
