Re: My first bite in over 20 years!!!!!!!!

lol my wifes been tagged 3+ times in the last year

Today we were bathing them. And she wanted me to pickup my et Axenthic male.. While I had the female in my hands so i said "Take her than" and my wife (not realizing today I had jsut fed them..) reached right out for it.. The female het snapped out a good 9-12 inches from my hand an djsut missed the wife. Gave her a heck of a scare

I still have yet to have been bitten Am far from brave enough to purposely do it. not afraid and wouldn't mind finding out just so I can tell people how little it hurts.

Re: My first bite in over 20 years!!!!!!!!

Cool... I just noticed, the blood is in the shape of a snake mouth. Sorry you got tagged, though! I often keep the feeders near my snakes, and haven't gotten a bite yet - but two of them also let me hand-feed (no tongs required), so I guess they aren't the biting type. Now that I say that, I'll probably get a good one tomorrow... LOL.

P.S. You should send that picture to FOX News, and include a note about the vicious attack you suffered. I bet the wussy reporter who interviewed Trey would be frightened!

Re: My first bite in over 20 years!!!!!!!!

Been bit 2 times in 13 years. one from a 6ft Black rat which was more liek a pinch. And the other from my 7ft+ Female boa. Wasn't the boas fault cause lil step nephew was jumping in her face and wouldn't listen, so the boa struck at his face but i put arm there and took every tooth he had in my arm.

Large boa bites are NO FUN. It burned for a hour after and wouldnt stop bleeding for 2 hours after.
