You're correct. Hypo x Axanthic will produce double het for 'True Ghost'.
Although if you ask a breeder if they are producing any 'ghosts', 99.9% of the time they are going to think you are talking about hypos.

As for thinking your snake is a "hypo". I think you are setting yourself up for a disappointment.

Have you seen a hypo in person?

    NORMAL

Here is another kind of hypo for you (Butterscotch Hypo) and as you can tell there is a major difference.

The only way you're getting hypo spiders is if you buy one.

My hypo almost appears to be covered in felt. He is so washed out and faded that he appears to have a fuzzy appearance, but Kevin is dead on in his description.

A hypo is unmistakable compared to a normal, plus like has already been said, if it sheds completely clear with no dark pigmentation in it that is the true mark of the hypo.

First of all we don't think you are an idiot, but we do (most of us anyway) have hypos and they are not as easily mistaken for normals as you think. And if she was sold to you by a breeder as a normal I can 200% guarantee she is a normal, because a breeder is by no means going to mistake a hypo for a normal.

And as for the hypo spider (honeybee) By breeding her to your spider IF she were a hypo you would only get spiders that were 100% het hypo.

Get better pictures and we are going to say the same thing.

BTW my avatar is the head of my hypo male. He looks nothing like any normal I've ever seen.

    That's not a Hypo!

Check the next shed...A Hypos shed is clear and has no pattern on it.
