Re: Animal Plastics cages - cable or flexwatt heat?
That depends on your ambient air temperature. If your room temp is fairly warm, then I would go with flexwatt belly heat. If your room temp is fairly cold, then I would go with an RHP. I have one from Reptile Basics, and really like it.

What model rack and for what species?
If it's for ball pythons I personally really like the dual side radiant heat. All my racks I purchase in the future will be this option after trying one last year. My other racks are heat cable and belly heat and I don't care for them much compared to the dual side radiant heat.

the heat cable sucks. Ive had it in there 6 foot cages and I have it in one of there racks now and I hate it. Flexwatt is much easier to control for me. Radiant heat panels work well also
