    Actually a silver streak x normal would give you only pewters and pastels I believe.

    yeah. i just download the Genetic generic wizard... and with an albino, i would get 50% Normal het Albino & 50% Pastel... well.. i taught it was going to be a good combo.. but will include the plan for future breeding.. ;p

    That is correct

    As for the pairings
    Silver Streak X Pastel = Pastels, Super Pastels, Pewters, Silver Streaks
    Silver Streak X Albino = Pastels 100% Het Albino, Pewters 100% Het Albino

    wow, that good to heard.. BUT

    using the genetic wizard, i got this..

    Male = Albino
    Female = Silver Streak

    Offspring predicted as:

    ---------------------------------------------------
    50.00% Normal(het. Albino)
    50.00% Pastel

    is the program having bugs?

    and is that possible to have only the normals are hets. and pastel are not??

    Yes, the program must he having issues.

    Your odds for a silver streak (super pastel black pastel) to an albino would be:
    ½ pastel het albinos
    ½ pewter (pastel black pastel) het albinos

    Your odds for a silver streak to a pastel would be:
    ¼ pastel
    ¼ pewter
    ¼ super pastel
    ¼ silver streak

    Don't know, I don't use that program but think of it this way...
    Silver Streak is a Super Pastel Black Pastel so
    100% of the offspring will get the Pastel Gene and 50% will get the Black pastel Gene just from the Silver Streak Parent so you are guaranteed that all offspring will atleast be pastel and any that also get the black pastel gene will be a pewter. If bred to an albino all offspring will be 100% het albino so that pairing will give you only Pastel 100% Het Albino and Pewters 100% Het Albino

    Re: should i use a male albino or a male pastel..

    I'd personally go with Silver Streak x Albino. That'd give you half Black Pewter Het Albinos, and half Pastel Het Albinos. When you start breeding those back and are producing homozygouys Albinos, look what you can get:

    Albino Cinnamon (similar to Albino Black Pastel)

    I like Pastel Albinos. I think they are underrated. Have you seen Ralph Davis's Pastel Lavender Albinos? Those are amazing!

    PLUS, imagine what an Albino Silver Streak will look like... To my knowledge, it has not been produced yet.

    You already have the coolest animal you can produce from your Silver Streak x Pastel cross, the Silver Streak. Add another morph like Albino to the combo and start a cool project that has MANY possibilities.
