Very quick improvement

I recently got a new female bp off kijiji. On the add and after speaking with the seller it seemed like this was a full grown female so I made arrangements to pick her up. When I got there I was surprized at how unknowlegeble this guy was. First she was no where near full grown and even though he said she is 3 I doubt that as she was only 400g. He thought she was going to stay that size! As well she was kept in the wrong conditions. Her cage was way to big, 40-50g glass tank. wood chunks as a substrate, he had a heat pad but also a red flood light as a heat bulb, way to hot and the enclosure was very dry. This was affecting her eyes as they were very badly wrinkled with retained eye caps, she was practically blind. She also had minor scalerot. He had one hide for her on the hot spot. He fed her live mice but did so by putting her in a small container and leaving her overnight with the mouse. She had a number of bite marks old and new. He said she likes to bite sometimes which she does but cant really blame her. Anyhow I took her, felt sorry for her. Plus she has a very strong het pied marker. I know this does not mean she is a het but it is worth trying to proove her out someday.
So I got her home and set her up in a tub and left her alone till she shed. I have had her 3wks. Her shed improved things greatly, the scalerot is gone her bite marks are healed and the older scars are faded. Her eyes are clear, still slightly wrinkled but way better and that will be gone by the next shed. She can see now and shes way less aggressive, still very head shy, her eyes are huge though. She also ate f/t for me last night which is so awsome. So cant wait till she grows up, she will be an awsome girl.

How awesome! BPs respond really well to proper husbandry, and I hope to hear all about how many eggs she produces in a year or two when she's big and plump for you!
