    Feeding question

As if we haven't seen enough haha. But really, folks, this is different than most of them.

This deals with an almost adult bp who weighs about 1300g (and she carries it proudly, thank you very much ). I heard that once they get to a certain weight, the 10-15% for prey items isn't applicable. Same with the feeding frequency.

So, should I feed her one small rat (50-65g) every week, two every two weeks, yadda yadda? I'm not sure.

    Thankie!

    Re: Feeding question

Another thing to add, she ate a small rat tonight, but didn't seem interested in the second one. I was kind of disappointed that she wouldn't eat it when I zombie'd it like usual. She started calmy eating it after I dropped it. Maybe it smelled especially dead?

    Re: Feeding question

My big female only eats when she feels like it, lol, which tends to be every 2-3 weeks late spring through fall. Not exactly sure on her weight, but I think it's around the 2500g mark. And I give her med-lrg rats most of the time. But smaller ones if she's being especially picky. Hope this helps.

    Re: Feeding question

Kaorte, I know you have an answer to this. You always do. I appreciate the experience I've been getting so far, but I was hoping someone would have a similar situation with bp size.
