    Humidity Question (please answer)

hey everyone i live in california and i am having some trouble with my humidity. the avg humidity in cali is like 50-60%, but in my bp's tub its not that. i am using a flukers digital thermometer/hygrometer...during the day the humidity has not gone below 55%. and is usually between 59-65%. on some occasionsive heard that 60-65% humidity is okay. i have drilled at least 300 holes in the top of the tub and in the sides. as many as i can fit. i was thinking about getting a little dehumidifier if i have to but i really dont want to spend that money. my bp was supposed to be a cheapish thing now since the mites and that stuff its more expensive than i thot. i mean im only 14 i dont hav unlimited money. any advice with lowering humidity?

now at night, the humidity goes up. ive seen it at 70%. is that okay? it usually goes bak to 60-65% as the day goes on and the sun comes out.

i would appreciate as much help as possible thanks in advance.

What sort of substrate (aka bedding) are you using for the snake? What type and size of water dish? With the higher humidity do you ever see dripping water from condensation? Where in your house is the snake's tub located?
