    yawning alot?

    my g/f's BP yawns everytime he is out of the cage while they are holding him, usually only once or twice ive never seen this before is it normal? and also, yesterday as she was putting him back in his cage he started to drink before he left her hand, is this normal also? i find it odd, but i know boas better then bp's :-p. and of course he still hasnt eaten, gonna try live tomorrow and see how it goes >< thanks !

    Yes it's perfectly normal for a BP to yawn. Mine does it a couple times when I have him out. My BP will reach down and drink sometimes when I put him back in his cage. I think he just sees it and realizes he's thirsty.

    As for not eating, how long has she had him? Was he allowed time to settle in without being handled? If you want to stay with f/t, after thawing just heat the mouse up with a blow dryer or hot water in a bag for a minute or 2. Then toss the mouse in in front of his hide at night and go out of the room for a little while or where he can't see you. He will probably take it. If not he should go for live.

    he had a week and a half to settle in and i tried to feed him 2 days after that and that was a week ago, tomorrow i need to feed my 2 boa's so i will try a live one because i believe the petshop fed him live. i just didnt know they would yawn so much and drink while still being held thats weird lol anyways ty and i will post how it goes tomorrow
