Is this an RI or not?
Hello everyone, I have this four year old female BP that I just received from someone. I noticed that she has a bit of a wheezing sound to her. I have been watching her for the last two days and she has not been openinig her mounth or raising her head up any. Very calm and relaxed acting snake. I also checked her mouth and can not see any mucous in their. No bubbling or anything. I got her right after she shed and she still had some around her neck and head, and her nose looks extremely dry. Also the wheezing sounds more like a stuck booger than anything. What do you all think? Thanks.

Could be stuck shed in the norstrils. I would watch it. If you notice any saliva or mucous, head straight to the vet.

Soak her in luke-warm water for 30-60 minutes to get the stuck shed off. Once you get it all off by rubbing with a moist towel or your hands, then see if the sound is still made.
Sounds like stuck shed to me too.

Thanks everyone. I thought that was what it was but wanted to ask here too just to be sure. I am keeping a close watch on her. I got most all of the old shed off but she still has a dry patch on the tip of her nose. I will try soaking her today as well.

Like everybody else said, as long as you don't see any mucous or her having to open her mouth to breath(if RI is bad enough) then it's probably because her last shed wasnt successful 100%. Just soak her like blackcrystal said and you should be fine.
