    Ball Python Tub Setup

    Hey yall i am getting another ball python soon and am using a tub system. i am getting a hatchling/baby and i have a 15qt tub, zoomed heat mat, thermostat, thermometers, humitidy gauge, 2 hides, a waterbowl, and aspen bedding. My temps on the warm side are staying at 86-93 deg 24/7. temps on the cool side are from 77-82 24/7. is my setup right? i have a video of it on youtube be sure to check out my channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/bamf64.     Any reason why the temps swing so much?
    Other than that, it looks like you have it spot on!
    And please, no sub hunting. We see enough of it on Youtube.

    Yeah the only thing I would be worried about is the swinging temps. Other then that, it looks great!

    wel i think the swinging temps are happening because my room gets cold at night but based on my research, it is fine to have a night drop as long as its not below 75 so i think im good right? im getting my ball python from bigappleherp.com, or constrictors.com. if you have any other cheap places to get good hatchling ball pythons let me know.

    I know adam at 8ballpythons sells normal males for a low price. I would go with him personally, he is a great guy!

    Night drops are really unnecessary. If you can keep them constant, it would probably be better. What kind of thermostat are you using?

    im using a newtek thermostat. but its working fine.
